Information vs Confusion, too much or too little.
The right amount of information is key, information overload leads to confusion and no information breeds confusion.
A great little chart from Indexed who provide some thought provoking doodles. Keep it up guys.

This is how I was watching the election… yes I was in a bar with a beer, wings and watching CNN live coverage, but I also had the following going on my laptop  twitter, cursebird (which I have to admit I was on a couple of times in the night), I was im-ing friends in Australia who had woken up to the news, texting friends in the UK who had stayed up, sharing it with friends in the US who although the majority couldn’t vote and aren’t American were moved to tears by Obama’s speech, as well being humbled a little by McCain’s speech.
The truly amazing and geeky stats from 538.com, Â I was interested as a statistician to see how close their predictions would be… fascinating use of sophisticated analysis that makes me a little weak at the knees
I had the very cool NY Times election dashboard as well as the NY Times Election Night Map,
as well as the live feed of the BBC World News, can’t beat the impartial view of the Beeb at times.
it was a true multi-media experience. I had spent most of the day (whilst I should have been working) surfing the net getting excited for what turned into a monumental evening and one of those nights that has become a “where were you when?”
I think this is an amazing headline from the NY Times, screen grabbed at annoucement time, it was changed shortly after into what is the headline on the paper edition

This is a brilliant article relating to the brains behind fivethirtyeight.com
I think its brilliant that they got so much mainstream media buzz, I was a daily reader.
